Message from the Executive Director

Dear Student Organization Leaders:

Welcome back to a new academic year.  We are excited to start this year and let you know that services to registered student organizations remain a priority for the University.

For the past three months, staff in the departments of Campus Unions and Center for Student Involvement have worked diligently to develop the best approach to serve and engage registered student organizations and provide our student body with an avenue to become 
involved in the campus experience.  We are pleased to announce the creation of the Center for Student Involvement, a new unit within Campus Unions located in 457 Memorial Union.  The Center for Student Involvement will continue to support student organizations and leaders 
through campus registration services and privileges, organizational consultation and training, advising and management of programs including Picnic Day, Activities Faire and The Buzz, and collaboration on student organization programs and activities in Campus Unions 
facilities.  Theresa Montemayor, Associate Director of Campus Unions, will supervise this unit that will be staffed by the Program Coordinator team of Paul Cody, Lori Fuller and Anne Myler, Office Manager Alice Delevati and Receptionist Marcie Valenzuela.  Business services for student organizations will continue to be provided by Clarisa Lovato.
