NEW MU/SILO TABLE RESERVATION PROCESS
For the first two week period of each quarter, MU and Silo table space will be assigned by lottery to groups that have registered in advance by email with the Campus Unions Information Center. Groups will no longer need to line up in advance or be present to receive a table assignment. All registered groups will have the same opportunity for prime spots in the lottery. The usual in-person process will continue for the rest of each quarter with reservations being accepted at the Information Center four weeks in advance.
For Fall 2009, 9/21-10/2 reservations:
1) Groups may register beginning August 10 and ending August 21 at infocenter@ucdavis.edu. Include the following in your email: Name of student organization, contact person, contact's phone number and contact's email address.
2) On August 24, groups will be assigned one "tabling ticket" per organization and the lottery will be conducted. All table numbers will be drawn and assigned at the same drawing, from prime tables to temporary table spaces until every group has a table or space, or until the supply of available tables and spaces are exhausted.
3) On August 25, table assignments will be emailed to the group's contact person and posted at the Campus Unions Information Center.

New CEVS registration process for weekly reservations
• Groups must register online with CEVS in advance each quarter to secure a place in line for the first day of reservations.
• CEVS registration will be accepted at www.cevs.ucdavis.edu/dept_cont/stdnt/ starting September 14, 2009 at 12:01am.
• Groups will be assigned and notified by email their place in line in the order their registration is received.
• Groups will not need to line up in advance because their place in line is already confirmed.
Instructions:
• Make sure you are currently registered for 2009-2010, and have an active 2009-2010 agency account with Center for Student Involvement.
• Make sure you are the designated signer for your student organization.
• Submit registration for Fall 2009 weekly reservations at http://www.cevs.ucdavis.edu/dept_cont/stdnt/ starting September 14, 2009 at 12:01am.
• Make sure your email address is correct as you will receive automatic email confirmation of your place in line upon completion of registration.
• Groups will be assigned a place in line in the order their registration is received.
• After receiving confirmation, complete the reservation form online at http://www.cevs.ucdavis.edu/dept_cont/obf/ .
• Make sure that you check space availability online at http://www.cevs.ucdavis.edu/dept_cont/space/ prior to submitting the form.
• Add alternative locations on the reservation form
• Print your reservation form and bring it to CEVS on the first day weekly reservations are accepted. Fall 2009 reservations will be accepted beginning Monday, September 21 at 7:00 am. Arrive no earlier than 6:30 am.
• Bring the confirmation of your assigned place in line and valid ID
Limitations:
• Only designated signers within your student organization may request a place in line.
• You may only register once per student organization.
• We will not accept multiple requests from one designated signer for multiple student organizations.
Caveats:
• If you are not present when we call you, you will lose your place in line and will have to wait until we have processed all other requests
• Your place in line will be verified.
